Here at Sterling services our drivers constantly go above and beyond the call of duty even when the initial job at hand is done!
On Friday 31st January we had a call from a member of the public telling us - “I had a breakdown at Tibshelf Services with my elderly father in the car, your driver came to the rescue and helped me get the car up and running, It so happened I was also going to Nottingham so he followed us to make sure we were ok on the motorway, I offered him some money but he wouldn’t take it, I just want to say what an amazing human being and what a good representation you have for your company”.
Nick Ward joined the Sterling family on the 2nd December last year and ever since has been a great ambassador for our company – He had this to say about his chivalrous act of kindness.
Nick humbly says “I did what I hope someone would do for me if I was drenched in the pouring down rain and fixed the starter motor for them and started the car with jump leads. I had only pulled up at the service station to get my dinner but was more than happy to help. I then escorted them down the motorway to make sure they were ok”.
The world needs a Nick in every distressing situation!
A massive well done to a very genuine guy from all of us here at Sterling Services.
